At Cedars Upper School, we take huge pride in celebrating the achievements of our students.
Students are rewarded regularly through the use of achievement points for their active participation in learning, to produce outstanding pieces of work. Each term there is a Rewards Assembly that celebrates students' successes from the term. These assemblies include reflections on the year group successes and the giving of certificates and small prizes. In addition to this, we have our horizontal Year structure and an inter-from competition called The 100 Club. Tutor groups are awarded points for accruing achievement points in lessons but are deducted points for lateness and behaviour points. In exceptional cases, students may receive Head of Year and Head Teacher awards to recognise achievement and contribution well above and beyond the norm.
